I am looking for sites to house bees.....

Do you want to have bees in your garden or on your land? Bees perform provide increased crop pollination, increase biodiversity, produce local honey and provide endless fascination.

Suitable sites are ones that:

  • Are sheltered from wind and do not sit in a hollow that will cause a frost pocket.
  • Have good vehicular access, hives and supers full of honey can be heavy!
  • Ideally have a southerly or westerly aspect.
  • Are away from public view.
  • Are away from livestock that may knock over the hive etc

I am currently looking for suitable sites to house bee hives in the South Cheshire or surrounding areas.

There is no planning permission required to have a beehive and of course I will provide all the maintenance required, looking after the hive to ensure that the bees are happy and healthy.

In return you can share in the honey that the bees produce from your area and, if you wish, accompany me whilst inspecting the bee colony, taking a close up look into the fascinating world of the honey bee.
